Raquel's Candy N' Confections

Found this store through my sister. She visits the Los Angeles location but through the owner she found out they were opening one near us. I decided to come to this store for my sons birthday. They have so many pinatas available. Lots of variety of candy and surtidos of candy (candy party mix) they have mini brooms, mops for the kids to help with house chores they have little balls for party favors so many things. The store is super clean and the staff is friendly. I even saved myself $30 on my purchase just by signing up to their rewards program! I will definitely be coming back here for other party necessities. I'm so happy we have a tienda like this near by. I don't go near LA so this place is my go to

Saved me a trip to downtown LA! Check this store out before heading out. The piñatas ranged from $20-$35. They're pretty big! Lots of candy!

Surprise, surprise, surprise...

It was a party prep day, we had our list which included me driving to downtown to pick up piñatas and candy. As always, I reached to Yelp to see which store I'd be heading to and check on the traffic. Then there it was...Raquel's Candy in Hacienda. What's this, we don't have a candy place near by ???

To my amazement yes we now do. I checked the reviews and pics and it all looked good. 15 minutes later I was in the store. WOW...this place has it all. Everything you used to have to drive to get is now local.

The store clerk was more than helpful. She was friendly and extremely attentive. You could tell she enjoyed being there. She told us about the owners having a store downtown and put this one near their home.

All I can say is THANK YOU. No more long drives for everyone who wants to stock up on their Mexican candy, piñatas and other treats. The selection is amazing.

This place has it all and the good news you don't need to go to DTLA to stock up on candy. They have an out of this world selection on Mexican candy Need a piñata? Look no further. They have lots to choose from. Maybe balloons? Raquel's has you covered. Nice one stop shop for party supplies. I was here the other day with my girlfriend and we're both impressed. Plus it's nice to have this 5 minutes from where I live. This place is going to be perfect for local neighborhoods. But it's not far off the 60 when you exit Hacienda blvd which makes it really accessible. Can't wait to come back and buy a piñata

The owner is so kind and the prices of her items are very reasonable! The store is clean which makes for great and happy ambiance and experience! Definitely coming back to do more party shopping. We bought a piñata for my daughter 1st birthday!

I was a customer for a couple years, they have a wide selection of candy and snacks,piñatas and balloons. The reason for the 3 stars is because it's not run properly, I've called on several occasions to see if they have something in stock and most of the time I get no answer, I've showed up a few times when there suppose to be open only to still find it closed. And my last attempt to buy something I walked in to see and they didn't have the item in stock and when I asked them to call me when they get it .. they never called me.

Raquel's is my go to place when in need of party supplies. If they don't have what you need, they will find it. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming.

My new go-to balloon spot! Open early enough to place my order for a Sunday party!
Prices are great! The lady who assisted us was really helpful and patient while my 10 year old was choosing which ribbon, which mylar balloons, and which latex balloon set, etc.
So happy to find this spot on FB!
